How to delete your browser's cookies, cache and history.

Your browser tends to hold onto information, and over time it could cause problems with logging in or bringing up websites. It’s always a good idea to clear out the cache, or browser history, and clear cookies on a regular basis. The drawback to this is that your saved usernames and passwords will be deleted and you’ll need to re-enter them. But on the plus side, your privacy is more secure and your browser will work better.

If you ever encounter a problem with loading your website, please try to delete your cache, cookies and history by following the instructions below:

Windows:

Most of the time pressing the following buttons on your keyboard CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE would automatically open the page where you could then clear your cache, cookies and history on your browser. But if this fails kindly follow the instructions bellow for the detailed steps in order to delete your cache, cookies and history.

Google Chrome

  1. Click on the Chrome menu icon located at the top-right corner.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click on Show advanced settings.
  4. Look for the section Privacy and click on the button for Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Select the boxes for the information that you need to delete, just make sure to select Browsing history, Download history, Cookies, and Cached images.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the Firefox Menu icon located at the top-right corner.
  2. On the left side, tabs click on Privacy.
  3. On the section History, click on the button for clear your recent history.
  4. Select the time range of the time you want to clear. I would suggest clearing everything.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click on the Settings icon located at the top-right corner.
  2. Hover your mouse over Safety and click on Delete browsing history.
  3. Select the boxes for the information that you need to delete, just make sure to select Browsing history, Download history, Cookies, and Cached images.

MAC:

Google Chrome

  1. In the menu bar, click on the Chrome tab located at the top-left corner.
  2. Click on Clear browsing data.
  3. Select the boxes for Cache, Cookies and History.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. In the menu bar, click on History located at the top-right corner.
  2. Click on Clear browsing data.
  3. Select the boxes for Cache, Cookies and History.

Safari

  1. In the menu bar, click on Safari located at the top-right corner.
  2. Click on Preferences.
  3. In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab. Click the button Remove All Website Data.
